Table Leg-Carpet Pressure Plate

I got tired of seeing the carpet indent left from the table leg pressing on it so I got a Plexiglas scrap from the shed and cut out the pressure plate shown in the following photos. After cutting the basic shape I filed the edges to “shape”, then wet sanded with 400 grit wet/dry emery paper and followed that with “Mother’s Aluminum & Magnesium Polish”.

I store the Plexiglas plate against the wall behind the folded table.
