We are doing a complete renovation to our 1992 29' Excella. Everything goes! Searching forums, Facebook and internet for interior redo's seems most I've found are either white, shiny, or dark wood. Looking for something to inspire us, considering painting skins. Want to lighten interior but will be full timing and think white will be too stark and not easy to keep clean. Cabinet/counter top, flooring choices? Thanks for sharing!

Oh man, I really dislike too much white in small spaces. People do it to make the space look "larger" or "brighter," but without contrast, the space just feels washed out. It'll feel far brighter if you have a nice mix of light and dark.

I'm partial to the white/gray/wood theme. I really wanted to use paperstone for the counters, but the logistics of picking them up from several states away was just too much. I went with IKEA butcher block.

Thanks. Yes, I did. I have never met a pocket door I didn't hate, so I went the barn door route. Nice, smooth operation.

I'm in Houston. It gets hot here and I am afraid of what would happen to butcher block countertops when my rig is stored in this heat. Would you recommend butcher block countertops in my situation? I would love to switch out my cheap linoleum.

The wife wanted to brighten up our 19' Flying Cloud and found a website called colorcopper which has all the information on the styles and process.

It's a thin layer of etched copper stuck down and then a 1/8" layer of epoxy is poured over it. It was quite a process but we were very happy with the results.

This is the new counter with the bare copper sheet stuck to it. The other counter tops, bathroom and above the fridge, I just stuck the copper to the existing top. For the kitchen I created a new counter extending it and preparing for a larger sink.



Flowing epoxy onto the counter above the fridge. All counters got new edging.



Really light and fun we think.
