Replacing storage bins
The storage bins on our "new to us" '71 23' twin bed rear bath Safari are mostly intact, though brittle and with some holes. Ideally, my wife would like to replace them all with new storage bins that have lids to keep out dust, etc.
Here are the existing bin sizes she'd like to replace:
22-1/4" x 11-1/2" x 5-3/8" quantity 6 (3 under each twin bed)
19-1/2" x 15-1/2" x 4-1/4" quantity 4 (2 under each front couch)
Has anyone found a good alternative? I'm not seeing anything close on either the Sterilite or Rubbermaid web sites. Color doesn't matter (much), as they'll be out of sight behind tambour doors when in use.
We also found two plastic bins in the galley that would be nice to update:
One is a 19-1/2" x 10-3/4" x 3" silverware drawer with 3 sub-sections the long way and 2 the short way. (I'm not particular about the subsections)
The other is 18-7/8" x 10-1/4" x 3-1/2"
Interesting that they don't share a width. That might explain why they looked just jammed in place within the galley rather than properly fit.
Any suggestions on those?
