removal of countertops in 2016 23' flying cloud

Hello! We are trying to remove the countertops in the kitchen area and the bathroom. There are some screws that we cannot figure out how to access to completely remove the counters.

In the kitchen, specifically, on the right-hand side where the refrigerator is. And
in the bathroom, there are two screws on the righthand side that we cannot see any way to remove them.

Any tips would be appreciated. Thanks! Ronnda & Thom

Hi....I removed the counter tops in my 2016 26U. Not a job for the faint of heart. Removing the sinks first makes it a lot easier to reach all screws. Then I purchased the Dewalt right angle drill adapter to get into those tight spots. This made a big difference. Had my counter tops coated with an acrylic finish that really spruced up our AS. https://www.homedepot.com/p/DEWALT-R...RA50/203867866

I removed the countertops on our 2016 FC. It first appears that you remove the screws that hold the countertop to the metal band that is attached to the sidewall. There are some screws just impossible to get to. I removed the metal band from the wall and left it attached to the countertops. I remade all the countertops reusing the molding between the wall and the countertop surfaces and used the original tops as a template.

If you're still trying to remove the counter tops(to replace) and don't mind some dust, use a skillsaw and cut about three/four inches from the walls. Same for the front edge of the counter top. A small trim router can be used to connect the cuts and then use a hammer (gently) to bust the inner piece from the outer ring. This should give you easy access to the fasteners/screws. I'm getting ready to remove the kitchen C.T. and modify the end cabinet box in our trailer. Template the countertops if you're going to use the same shape.

I have a 2016 19' CB Flying cloud. I'm interested in changing out my counter top as I just don't like the dark green marble look. Have any of you also replaced the vanity top, table and counter on top of fridge. i'd like to go lighter all the way around and I know my Airstream center will charge me a mortgage to do the work
