Painting bathroom countertop

Hello,

I apologize if answers to my query can be found elsewhere, but my searches haven't been very successful thus far!

We're refinishing a 1974 Ambassador and don't plan on getting to any major bathroom work until next year. I was, however, hoping to paint the walls and counter top now when we're painting the rest of the trailer. I'm good with the walls (lots of info on here about that), but I'm looking for recommendations on primer/paint/technique/etc. for the counter top. Most information I've found seems to focus on replacing the counter.

I've attached some bathroom pictures for reference if necessary.

Thanks in advance for your time!
Jen

I have used 2 part epoxy paint called Tough as Tile with excellent results. It's stinky stuff to use though. I recommend using a respirator. It can be brushed on and the brush marks largely disapear.
