Newbie Needs Advice

New proud owner of a 69 Ambassador-love it already. Wondering about stripping the vinyl, watched the Youtube videos-messy but not too hard. I could paint but love the aluminim look. The ceiling has fiberglass down the middle-cover it, paint it-whats a girl to do? Experience and opinions welcome.

We have stripped and are in the process of polishing our interior skins. They are much easier to strip if they are removed. Polishing is back breaking and messy. You can expect to put about 40 hours of work to get them shiny. It does look real nice once it is polished but painting is quick and easy. Good luck with your new project!
