My wife and I are fans of classic and timeless design. Weíve owned old cars, old boats, old houses, and couldnít resist owning an American legend like Airstream. We purchased our first one this past April and have zero regrets. AS produces a fantastic product. One wish is that we would have gone with a 27 footer and I suspect that will be in our future, but thatís only a minor wish. We spent a few weeks researching and settled on the International Signature 23D.
We hit the road almost immediately with trips to Navarre Beach, FL, Philadelphia, MS, Biloxi, MS and our next trip scheduled for November to Hot Springs, AR. We have a precious 5 year old daughter and she loves the Airstream and thinks all RVs are just called ďAirstreamsĒ.
I did have to replace the bathroom door handle due to the screwed in handle coming out. Also, the dinette table didnít quite fit the rest of the furnishings of the airstream so I had a custom table top built out of black walnut. We also cut it down by a couple inches to give more space in the lounge.
Love reading the forums. See yíall on the road!
