New Sofa sleeper for 2004 Classic LTD

I have a 2004 Classic 34 LTD S/O lounge. I would like to remove the cabinetry/computer desk in the front and replace it with sofa sleeper. Has anyone ever done this before ? I took some preliminary measurements and it looks like my main difficulties/obstacles will be 1. The battery boxes on the floor and 2. When the Slide is retracted the side edge of the slide will need to clear the front of the sofa. Any thoughts/tips would be sincerely appreciated !!!

Not sure about your slide interference, but the batt boxes fit nicely under my front sofa unit. Don't think you have to worry about that.

Ditto on the battery boxes fitting beneath the sofa.

Here's a photo from replacing the Univolt:

The horizontal streaks on the wall above the battery boxes are at the sofa base level. In the sofa base, there are drawers between the front of the base and the battery boxes.
