Is there any better system out there for a removable table that I could install?

One thing you might try is to take some eye bolts, or eye screws, and attach to the underside of the table on all four corners, and to the floor directly below the table corners. Then, using quarter-inch coated steel cable (low stretch that way) and some turnbuckles (to adjust the tension) run cables from the eyes in the table to the eyes in the floor. With the cables all properly tensioned (but not tight enough to pull out) the table should be very stable. When you're parked, you can remove the cables to get them out of the way and use the table normally.
