Pex was easy. I didn’t use the clip version but instead I used the expanded pex version. It seemed much more secure and was very easy to use.
Here’s a link of the tool.

I think you can rent one from Home Depot.
I had a friend who let me borrow his.

Just lovely! Thank you for posting. ) I'm considering changing out my perfectly good "harvest gold" counter top. I love the wood butcher block counter tops and the one you've done is very nice. Is the bathroom completed yet?

X2 on the PEX using the expansion method. Quick, easy and no issues. We invested in the Milwaukee battery operated expander. Pricey but we not only had two ASs to plumb but the barn apartment and house. Great system.

You did a really great job on that table top. I'm probably going to build a folding tale for my Caravel; I will definitely use that same finish.

Thanks again!

Hi Camper Crazy, not too much done in the bathroom except for a fresh coat of paint on the original countertop and shower basin/floor, I added a teak grate flooring, new faucet, new shower head, curtain rod/flexible rail for wet shower, new overhead light and a compost toilet. I got rid of the black tank but wish I hadn't. I plan on getting another one and plumbing the compost toilet urine line directly into the black tank. It'll hold up to 15 gallons instead of the measly 2 gallon container which comes with the Nature's Head. I do plan on redoing the counter to match the table in the galley area and changing out the sink. So many projects on my list, solar, rear view camera, new led interior ceiling lights, reinstalling rear bumper, new bathroom door build, and I gotta lay down my foam teak flooring.... the list goes on...

New shelves for silverware

Here is the new shelf I built for my silverware. I found these black trays at harbor freight which were a perfect fit for the job. I also lined beneath the bottom shelf with some aluminum to ward off any high heat from the new suburban furnace.

Those trays are perfect; look like heavy plastic so will hold up well. Nice work! And might as well do something productive while mostly homebound!

Yup they’re sturdy and very rigid. The best part is that they’re inexpensive.

Added new soap dispenser...

Here’s a pic of my new soap dispenser. I wanted to have least amount of clutter on my counters especially with soap bottles.
