Looking for Formica Boomerang small piece?

Hello Forum members, This is my first time posting but I have been an avid reader since purchasing my '60 Safari in 2011! This question however is not about my Airstream which is being prepared for some restoration over our long Michigan winter.

My question is: Does anyone have any small pieces of the Boomerang pattern formica they would like sell me for a custom guitar project I am working on? My minimum dimensions would be 10" x 13". Since my guitar is painted black almost any color of the boomerang patterns I have seen on line would be a great look.

As most of you know it is nearly impossible to purchase this these days and even more difficult to by less than a full sheet. Thanks in advance! Doug

Have you tried local cabinet shops in your area ? Or a Habitat for Humanity resale store ?

Looking for boomerang formica

Yes, I have tried both with no success yet. I am hoping someone has some small pieces left that I might be able to talk them out of? Thanks, Doug

Hi Doug, a company called Wilson Art, makes boomerang formica. You might try them.

You might also try a bit farther afield, if you're in a small town, try shops in a larger city. You might also be able to track through Wilsonart a shop that has purchased boomerang recently, and contact that installer or shop to inquire about left-overs. Good luck, and post pics when you're done!

I have a piece of Aqua Boomerang that is 11.5 inches wide and plenty long. I'll mail it to you if you PM me your address. Would 14 inches be long enough?

I have a piece of charcoal Boomerang. It's about 20" square. It's a piece of leftover from our kitchen. It's about 20 years old, but still has the protective covering on it. It is the gloss finish material vs. the matte finish. Here is a photo of what it looks like on our kitchen counter.
