Interesting Issue with 2015 Serenity 30'
Here is something that I have not seen discussed here on the forums before. We have a 2015 Serenity 30' which we absolutely love. It is the most perfect trailer for us. However there is an interesting issue developing in the bathroom.
There is a strip of decorative aluminum that is used as a baseboard around the cabinet. As the temperatures rise in Mesa, AZ (a high of 80+ today and heading for 90 in the ensuing week), this strip expands and pulls away from the cabinetry, leaving a gap from the wall. I suppose this is due to the expansion (and subsequent) contraction of the metal due to heat. Since it is screwed to the cabinet in a couple of places it has no where to go except out.
The fix as I see it is to take the plate off and elongate the screw holes thus allowing the plate to expand and slide.
Anyone else experienced this?
