How to remove pantry sliding door on '14 Flying Cloud

We had some spillage that leaked onto floor of the pantry door unit. I just need to remove the pantry door completely so I can fully clean inside the pantry unit. Just can't figure out how to remove the door from its slides. Normally on other slide units like this, I simply depress a tab which releases the mechanism but there doesn't seem to be a tab visible. Thanks in advance for any assistance.

Hello, I have a similar problem. The wire shelves are beaten up and so are the slides that are also rusting. Need to replace all of that. I just read to pull the slide all the way our and then lift the back. Sorry for the long delay for a response.

My AS is older so this may not apply. On our slide out pantry there are some flat, dark colored metal strips along the edge of the roller brackets. I have to lift up one end of that metal strip to let the rollers get past the stop so I can work on it. Maybe you have something like that. If the door or pantry is a slide there should be a release on it.

Unfortunately it isn’t easy as the slides cannot be unlatched from the tracks. So, here’s what you have to do: First, empty all the shelves and remove them. Second, pull out the pantry as far as it will go. There are four screws holding each track to the inside of the cabinet - one track on the bottom and one slider track on the top left. All of the screw tips should be accessible. Next, unscrew all eight of these screws - it’s a tight space inside the cabinet, so you may need a stubby screwdriver for the screws on the top left. The rack and sliders should now be detached from the cabinet. Lastly, carefully pull out the entire rack from the cabinet. Now the entire inside of the cabinet should be accessible for cleaning. Removing is doable by one person, but reinstalling may be easier with two people because it’s difficult to hold up the entire rack while simultaneously trying to screw in the screws… speaking from experience.

I had a screw fall out that was holding the rack to the slider, causing it to incorrectly line up with the black latch in the back that helps hold the cabinet shut… which resulted in me being unable to close the door at all. Even the Airstream dealerships I asked were stumped when I asked about how to get the sliding section out of the cabinet… but after doing it and analyzing the parts I can confirm that this is the only way to do it.
