Hi--
After looking for several months, just got an '75 23ft Safari in reasonable shape. No wasp nests (actually happened), all the windows are there (bonus
), appliances work, except AC.
There seems to be a leak at one time around the front window since their is dry rot in the left corner... and the solution of the PO twice removed was to Silicon the front window.... all of it.
The person evidently got a deal on the case of clear Silicon sealer and was an overachiever.
I'm gonna focus on the Front window and reclaim the bath room from mold and mildew... and anicipating some adventures along the way.
One of the POs had put contact paper on bath sink surround, and it still sticking well. Any ideas on how to remove it without damaging the gelcoat sink? I'm not worried about stains... I'm going to try the Lowe's "tough as tile" stuff.
Thanks,
Ron
