Counter top space

E have a 19' Bambi and were wondering if anyone had any good tips on how to get more counter space. Perhaps adding a hinged shelf to the right of the sink. Not to much to work with as is.

I think TBrich had done something similar to that. We were going to make something for ours but we use the table for prep work. We also chop a lot of stuff beforehand so all we have to do is mix it up. We use a lot of storage containers but I love these (they stack) from IKEA. They hold a lot and fit perfect in the fridge.

If you don't have burner covers, they are a good way to keep your burners/stovetop clean and add that counter space.

I found a glass, marble-look, two-burner cover with legs at a Kitchen Collection store. It looks great in our galley area and provides a place for the coffee pot and laptop to sit at night.
