My unit was "customized" by previous owners in some hacked out DIY way. I removed all his work.
Two of these benches were used in the dinette he built. I looked through both the 2010 FC and 2011 FC Airstream Parts Books and did NOT find any bench that looks like this.
Anyone have these?
Cheers,
Mark

As noted, these dinettes have been used in International and International Serenity models since the early 2000s to the current model year in the International line. You will see this dinette style today in larger models (28-30'). Here's a photo of a 30RB.

That is the dinette in a 2012 Airstream International
We have the Serenity finish. Changed the original 4 inch cushions for a 5 inch seat cushion.

Well, what a nice bindle of new information for me! Thanks folks - especially for that picture.
If any of you have that kind of TABLE, I would love to know the W x L dimensions. I will try to duplicate that layout.
Also, if you do have that table, when it is folded down, does it sit on a lip coming off the bench? Does it make a bed?
Sorry, if those seem like stupid questions, but I want get as much of the detail as I can before I start sawing and laminating wood!
Cheers!
Mark and Paula

Your original dinette did not have a table that attaches to the wall, but the previous owner added those brackets, so you have option.
Originally, your 23FB had a center pedestal that dropped down to form the bed. You also had rounded cushions in the corners of the dinette. I am including photos of a 23FB Flying Cloud with the rounded cushions and a 23FB International with flat cushions. Both of those have a central pedestal table. To be honest, I've seen many people change that design, or express their dislike of it. Maybe that's why the previous owner changed it. Ultimate Airstreams has now started renovating this area for customers. If you aren't familiar with Ultimate Airstreams, look them up for inspiration.
Because the previous owner added wall brackets, you don't need the pedestal table. Do you have the part of the bracket that attaches to the table? I am including a picture of a 30RB International with the table down in "bed" mode. The size of the table is 26x42, but that is unlikely to fit your space. You'll have to adjust the size of the table to fit your space. I believe it just sits on the bench when lowered for bed mode, but I'm not sure.
WOWZA! Thank you Wendy and Paul for that thorough research!
That is VERY helpful stuff.
Ok, when we bought the unit last month, it DID have a pedestal base. It was the collapsable pedestral from AS. However, it had a massive, heavy, butcher block table mounted that was 2" thick and weighed maybe 40 pounds. It was impossible for us to even lift that table into the full upright position. ANd weirdly, when we did get it up, it left about 4" of leg room between cushion and bottom of table! He had also build a heavy vertical wall to cover the wheel wells and added boards outward from the wall to form a seat on the wall side of the table. It was an absolute hack job and I removed it. He had totally covered up the AC outlet and TV outlet on that wall.
I have rebuilt a nice wheel-well cover emulating the AS one. I am just waiting for my laminate to arrive to finish it. Until now, I was assuming that we should make a wall mount table to bring it back to original. But, your comment about the wall hinges now creates a new question about the pedestal base - which I have in the garage.
1. I tried to lubricate the base segments to see if I could make it easy to raise. Not really easy. Reaching under and operating the two latches are a PITA. And, I will go measure, but I don't think it raises to anything near 30 inches. There was a 12 x 12 x 1/4" aluminum base piece on top of the pedestal that the top was attached to. It has glides on it, and when driving, the table top was sloshing back and forth willy nilly even with the so-called latch locked.
2. We have no use for a "bed" conversion of the dinette - so that is not important to us. We also have no use or desire for a "horseshoe" style dinette, which is what the previous owner attempted to build.
3. I have none of the wall table parts that go on the table, but I did find a place to buy them. So, no trouble there.
4. One more oddity is the benches. The two legs are both far to the outside edge of the bench with nothing supporting the inside half of the bench. While it might look like that inside edge should sit "on the wheel well cover," I really doubt if that is the intention as it would require a super strong attachment of the wheel cover to the wall and floor. My current plan is to attach a LEG to the inside half of the bench that will go to the floor, not the wheel cover.
SO, lots to review and consider now! Again, that you for the information and photos! Brilliant!
Cheers!
Mark

Those wall table brackets are the same ones my Bigfoot trailer has in it. As first I was going to say it is a Cass Hudson system but they don't have it on the website, so I'm not sure.
