Call for Alternative Interiors, pics and design inspiration....

I'm nearing completion of my '72 Overlander and will be building up the interior soon. I've got lots of ideas, as I am a Fine Furniture designer and maker... But, I'd like to see what the AS community has done.
I don't want to discount all the great and really admirable work that the people of this community have done to their own trailers, but I want to find the alternative designs... There seems to be a lot of rebuilds of the original interiors. If there are any builders that have rennovated, remodled, and or customized their trailers with anything other than the typical plywood dinettes and cabinets, let's get some pics going here.

Who's done or can find some really unique interiors?

If you haven't already, you should check out Carlos Ferguson's thread on his rebuild of a '62 Safari.

http://www.airforums.com/forums/f321...ari-15592.html

And then there's JP's '58 Footer:

http://www.airforums.com/forums/f36/...ent-17197.html

And of course, maybe the most famous one on the Forums, Uwe's '63 Overlander:

http://www.airforums.com/forums/f142...ler-11687.html

Not only are those threads loaded with before, during, and after pictures, but they also include a lot of exposition by the builders on their thoughts, decisions, and details on how they did it.

There are lots more great ideas in the other various Major Renovation threads, which you can find here:

Good luck!

Yes, those guys do amazing work. Another one that's fairly new and currently in progress, is this one by Forums member air19. Since you seem to appreciate alternative and perhaps unorthodox ideas for trailer rebuilds, I think you'll like this one, too:
