Does anyone know who makes the bent wood facia cabinet doors on the new Safaris? I think that Airstream purchases these doors from a commerical cabinet company. I have seen similar doors used on another SOB motorhome.
The "bent wood" cabinet doors are actually made out of a high density foam material, not wood. The surface is a textured plastic. This foam material is used in other areas of the Safari interior as well. It helps to keep down the weight of the coach.
