Attaching and Bending Edge Trim

Folks,

When replacing 1/4 inch "U" shaped channel on front bulkhead wall near outside door (the wall/divider/bulkhead that magazine rack is attached to), how have you all bent the 1/4 aluminum trim to follow contours of wall panel without kinking the aluminum?

Also, how can this trim be attached without rivits?

Thanks

The bending is a bit difficult by hand, but not impossible. Just work it slowly.
It is an interference fit, meaning that the neds of the channel are crimped together to stay on the panel. I have seen smaller than normal rivets holding on certain sections of the trim as well. Mostly it's crimped, though.
