Aluminum Trim Source?

Does anyone know of a source for aluminum trim. I want to build new cabinets and would like to edge them in aluminum.

What I really want to do is hand form sheet aluminum into the "L" and "U" profiles I need to but I have no skills in cutting or forming. A link to basic aluminum working skills would be appreciated.

The sort of trim I'm looking for is in this picture around the counter tops.

Thank you in advance.

Aluminum Trim

I chose ALUMINUM T-Trim "Moulding"...and the outlet I used was:

J.H. Carr & Sons in Seattle, Washington. Their phone number is Area Code 206..763-1937.
The trim I used is "T-Trim"...not glue-on, and not screw on. It comes in 14-foot lengths, and 1-1/4 inches in width, so the edge it's been installed on needs to be able to accommodate it.

(I have 2 tables in the Salon, that are hinged together. that I desperately wanted trimmed in this 1-1/4 inch T-Trim..so in order to use the trim on them, the AIRSTREAM Stainless Steel hinges HAD to be 'reset' OFF-CENTER to accommodate the thicker tables.)

The lengths are 'rigid', so installation has to be sometimes done "off-site" to go around curves.

It is not easy to install, so not for the 'faint of heart'.

A special note: It does not have to be mitred, screwed or 'glued'.

T-Moulding

Hopefully, my new thread of Cudtom Designs has been registered and is up . My first thread on it, is about the t-trim (aluminum). Someone posted in yours I think that they used Stainless Steel....I think I prefer the Aluminum for it's ability to bend and it's weight (lack of).

Anyway...if I didn't tell you my source, let me know...and I'll send it to you. I did post it somewhere. And the trim was installed today in the Salon and Galley...and all that's left is the dining room (double) table (2). pHOTOs will be up on the Forum by August 9th.

eposiode 14 on the VAP

David Winnick used this http://www.brunnerent.com/ as the source for the aluminum trim on his 68 Caravel and the 75th anniversary edition for Airstream.

theVAp.com has an interview with him on episode 14 that you might find interesting.

Has anyone replaced the T moulding that runs down the ceiling. I have 2 tracks that are about 20' with no seams on my 25' 72 Tradewind. One looks a little cracked with some surface missing
