Allure for a countertop surface?

Hi - I'd like my countertops to match my floors. Traffic Master Allure has a few paterns that would work for me. What would the disadvatages be to using Allure for a countertop? I'd use 5/8" plywood underneath and glue the flooring down. We always use cutting boards and the flooring seems very tough.

vinyl or planks?

doesn't matter the issues are similar.

it may not be food safe, even for incidental contact.

it is surely not heat tolerate.

while one might think cutting boards are a solution to these issues,

the counters will be wiped down with the same products used for dishes and pots and food.

there will direct hits from utensils, pots and other sharps...

exposing more of whatever is under the shiny layer.

but what the heck, it will take years 4 any adverse effects.

seriously have u looked at what vinyl flooring emits and how it reacts to household chemicals?

bad idea.

still i am confident some1 has done it and will shortly provide u with feedback.

cheers
