70s Bathroom Cabinet Tambour to Sliding Door Conversion

Has anybody converted the tambour door under the bathroom sink cabinet to sliding doors? Seems like it would be a pretty easy modification. The existing hardware only has one track so another will be needed. Anybody know where sliding tracks can be purchased?

Sneakinup did this modification to his bathroom sink cabinet (his mod is actually a pull out door) and it's what really gave me the idea to convert the tambour in the first place.

Note that I like tambour in general and love this aspect of the 70s Airstreams but this particular tambour door is very troublesome. It time for a change.

To repair some existing sliding doors that jumped the track, I replaced some Airstream plastic sliding door track with aluminum track. The product is made by M-D Building Products and is called Aluma-Slide Sliding Door Track. It is available for 1/8, 1/4, 1/2, and 3/4 doors. It doesn't flex as much as plastic track and retained my doors better.

The tambour doors in my 72 Globetrotter are falling apart and I can't keep the right door in its track. I've been looking at this for a couple of weeks now and I am bewildered on what I want to do to solve this problem without restoring the entire bathroom. I like the idea on the solid door. It looks nice and clean. How did you design the door to drop down?
