22ft 2019 sport cabinet delamination

My 22ft is a year old. Ive had cabinet delamination in several places. Took it in to the Airstream dealer under warranty. One cabinet replaced. other areas repaired. Picked it up and took it to the storage area. A month or so the same thing happened including the new cabinet. Called Airstream they said no worry however I have to wait until the factory has reopened due to Coronavirus. Iam in Phoenix. It does get hot. but only a few days of 100 plus. Question...Am I the only person that has this problem?

No you are not alone. The plastic covering on the shelving on our 2018 27' FC is delaminating. Heat maybe, but I suspect crappy glue by whoever made the MDF used by Airstream in the cabinetry. We have 21,00 tow miles and the screws connecting the cabinets together and to the frame of the trailer are starting to fail. MDF is just not made for constant motion. You'd think for the money for an Airstream they'd at least use higher quality materials for the cabinets.

As a fix for the de-lamination, I've used a wood glue and weights to set the glue. So far it works.

Our 27' is suffering the same fate. Cheap particle board base with glued-on white laminate. All are slowly separating and screws constantly fail to hold. Only solution is to use woodglue and clamps. For the screw hole failures, wood matches coated in wood glue are pounded into the holes, then screws re-set.

One would think an $80K trailer would have premium interiors. Our 24' box trailer had better cabinetry. Shame on Airstream.
