1970s Range Hood Fan Wiring

Hey everyone!

We've just reinstalled the tambour cabinet with the control center and range hood fan in our 1976 International Sovereign. Unfortunately, my dad and boyfriend (who were the ones who removed the cabinet) don't remember how the range hood fan was wired. Obviously, there's a stiff wire that is pulled by the handle to open and close the fan, but they have no idea where the red and black wires connected to. Does anyone have photos of their wiring I can reference?

I attached the page from the 75 service manual. I do not have the trailer any more, but the micro switch is activated by the lever which attaches to the cable.

It is not the easiest area to work on, good luck...

Thanks for the diagram. Unfortunately, the switch wiring is not obvious and I think I'll need something more specific to fix the wiring.
