Ill go first...

Cool! Thanks Andy! I hope to use this to tell everybody about the wiki, how to use it if needed and such. I will also link back to this on the wiki so if people need help they can get it here - if that's O.K.

By the way - do you want me to go ahead and create the logo for the WallYWiki?

What is the WallyWiki

A wiki is a place where anybody can contribute to the site. For example (and the one I use quite a bit is Wikipedia, an online encyclopedia that was built by the contributions of thousands of people writing articles. I myself have written a few articles for that.
The WallyWiki is an online place where you could write articles on any airstream topic that you want. For example, if you have some experience in a specific area of maintenance on your trailer, you could write an article about it and post it. Then others can see that article and even contribute to it as well.

Thumbs up Ditto on Buttercups Message

Thank you Andy! I've long thought that there is much valuable info to be gleaned from these Forums if chosen carefully. There is the making of a book here and a wiki will not be out of date instantly. The thread of last weekend has some valid faulting of the wiki system, but these Forums are no better and may be prone to more inaccuracy issues than a basic wiki. With careful execution I believe your objective is laudable and timely. Thank you!!

So, has everyone lost interest? I posted an article on Safaris last week. Who's next?

I made one editorial correction. You stated the wrap around windows were available on the LS package staring in 2005. They were introduced to the Safari line with the creation of the SE trim packager in 2005. I believe they are still not offered on the LS package. I changed only the letters "LS" to "SE". I know this because I tried to order a Safari 30' with them and was told I would have to wait until the 30' was offered in the SE package. This never materialized as the 30' was discontinued earlier this year and I had to settle for the Hehr windows instead.

Glad to see the additions...

I am glad to see the additions. I have been pruning spam postings from the wiki. Nasty stuff you don't want to see...

More than you know

There is a lot more than you know on the wiki but most of it is unseen. Look for the articles with no content in it and click edit. That is where you will see the spam in the form of links.
