Propane tank

Hi everyone,
Well I'm new to ring! And I am proud owner of a airstream international 25' travel trailer. I can not figure out how to remove the propane cover, to be able to remove the tanks, to fill them up!! There seems to be switches wired in, to drop the stabilizers. Anything special I need to know!

Kls7773,

Welcome to Airforums. I haven't seen your exact model but this is from owners manual page F-2 of a 2008 International. And same page has install procedure. If your rig has modifications pics are a big help.

The following step-by-step procedure gives you the proper method of removing and
installing these bottles:
1. Rotate the black lever all the way over towards the reserve cylinder. The indicator
will turn green and the reserve cylinder becomes the service cylinder. Now shut off
the cylinder valve on the empty cylinder.
2. Disconnect the green swivel nut from the cylinder valve at the bottle to be removed.
(This fitting has a common right hand thread and turns in the same direction to most
threaded fittings.)
3. Turn the large clamping “T”’ handle counterclockwise until the hold down bracket
is loose enough to remove the bottle. If your trailer is equipped with a gas bottle
cover the “T”’ handle must be removed, and then remove the cover before removing the bottle.
