Wire rechargeable flashlight cradle near battery disconnect?

Hey All,

We have a 2012 Flying Cloud 19' into which I would like to install a Maglite rechargeable flashlight. I have been looking around for mounting locations where power would be available (DC, no inverter, wired to be always on) and came across the space just inside the door below the battery disconnect switch (pic attached - sorry for the rotation). I figure I could sneak a wire out from behind the panel and run it to the charging cradle.

All I need is a hot wire and a ground (flashlight wiring attached) but wondered if someone might be able to give me some insight on how easy that might be to find when I pull off that BDS panel or if there's a problem with this approach I'm not considering. I found this BDS wiring diagram on another forum (gasp!) but honestly, it's a little over my head.

Thanks in advance for anyone willing to hold my hand on this one.

Dave

Do you have the Mag rack next to the door?

Nope, no mag rack (see my badly rotated pic above), and that doesn't keep my flashlight charged either. The rechargeable Maglite comes with a nice clip in cradle that holds it vertically. I just need to get power to it.
