wire diagram 1986 32 exella
Where can I find the wire diagram for the car to trailor conector for a 1986 32 exella.
Is this a 7 or 9 pin plug?
Thanks

Reply to "wiring diagram for 32 Excella
Hi There: Standard wiring carries a seven "flat blade" round conector. I do not know of any nine pin connecting plugs. Be sure to check location of wires to coresponding pins. I believe that AS locations are different from US standard truck manufacturers wiring. Atleast it was that way on older units. Best to ring them our first. Good luck, "Boatdoc"

9 way plugs 86 excella
Search the title above. I made a few posts I have a 86 excella with a 9 pin. There are 2 different 9 pins as I describe, do yourself a favor and convert to a 7 pin. Smooth sailing Tim

thanks.
Think that I wil take some euro conectors with me to the harbour when we go to pickup the AS.
If the plug is not good just chance to European plug on the spot.
Are the colors of the wires coming from the trailor alwas the same?

All you need to get home is stop turn and tail, running lights. I wouldn't consume a lot of time at the dock, you know it's busy there and why hurry yourself. So good luck, Did you get manuals with your rig? If you have more ?s you could pm me. seeing as we have the same trailers.

I have a nine pin
My AS is a 85 25' Sovereign (sp?). It has a nine pin and I have a daigram. I would have to scan it. So let me know if you need it.

Richards got it right!! Thats the same diagram in my manual and exactly the way my trailer and TV are wired. The big-longer- pins are at 3 and 9 oclock, not so in some of the newer round pin 9's. But you will probably chop that plug off anyhoo. Thanks for seconding my motion Richard! Tim

I was reading your post. I also have a 1986 32 foot Excella and I have the manuals. What portion do you need? I will be happy to reproduce that portion for you for the cost of copying. In fact, I will be happy to take the whole lot to Kinko's if you will foot the bill.
