Where to locate 40 amp glass fuses

Does anyone (who uses the old Univolt fuse blocks) have a good source for the 40 amp glass fuses found in the 2 slots for the TV and Trailer batteries? I've been to 4 car parts stores locally with no luck-they only carry up to 30 amps.

Harder to find than milk on a boar hog. Are they AGM or the larger glass fuses. I have been told to check audio suppliers. You can substitute with a 40 amp resetting fuse which plugs right in, but that also partially defeats the purpose of the fuse in the first place.

I didn't see any at VintageTrailer, but Inland does carry them.

Supportive parts stocking Airstream dealers have parts like that.

Being supportive, is giving aid to those in need, and hopefully returned with thank you's and support.

At least thats what my little dictionary says.

The 40's are AGS-not sure what AGS means and why I couldn't use an AGC instead. I WISH Autozone had them -they only carry the AGU-fat ones-went to every car parts place in the northeast Ohio. Seems to be an obsolete part. I did see stereo parts stores carry something similar-haven't tried any marine places. I'll try ordering them with my vent gaskets from Inland-but I didn't see them listed on their site-worth a try! Thanks everyone.

Our web site, is a sale list only, as it states.

We carry over 3300 different Airstream parts, in stock.

Most of them are for older trailers and motorhomes.

3300-that's a lot of counting. I lucked out and called a local RV dealer(non-AS) and they had two 5 packs just like I remembered-in the sliding metal package. Bought 2 and supplied all the other ones I needed as well-that way when I do replace this old converter I can recycle the old fuse block.
