Where exactly is the charge controller?

I have a 2016 Interstate and am thinking about replacing the Atkinson PVCM25D with a PVCM25D-MPT. Where is the controller? Can anyone tell me specifically how to access this or have a schematic with step by step instructions? Any help would be welcome and also any thoughts on the replacement idea?

I didn't know they even made an MPPT version. The only reason to stay with an Atkinson Controller is if their MPPT version actually works and you are able to keep the same wall display (which it looks like you can). See their instructions for replacement.

Instead, consider a Victron or other well regarded MPPT brand. Some come with a bluetooth app for monitoring your battery by phone. A decent on starts at only $100.
