Joel,
If you have the "batwing" style antenna you might want to replace the entire thing. Thats what we did. We were not sure if it was the booster or the antenna head. We got ours from Camping Word and our reception is great.
Here is a link, the antenna is on sale for $99.

The wall "booster" for the batwing is actually a power supply for the amp which is in the antenna. The Wall "booster" for the old clothes line hanger type antenna is actually a preamp. You can buy either at your local RV store or Camping World. Make sure you talk to the right person, some of the people at Camping world do not know the difference and tried to sell me the wrong one a couple of years ago.

signal booster

first chance to get back on line. The guy at inland rv said to try one of the ones for the winegard.I tried it and it worked.I guess at some time in the past it had to have been replaced .I am not sure about the replacement but it still has the old style antenna.

tv signal booster

I needed to add to my previous post.Apparently wingard makes 2 different units. 1 is an amplifier only aand the other is a power unit for the wingard antenna with the amp up on the antenna.I got lucky and someone who did not have a clue sold me the right one.
