Trouble Reaching Bus Bar

I have a 2018 25' AS and I'm in the process of installing a couple of solar panels, but I'm having trouble getting to the bus bars in the DC connector panel box. The inverter is mounted literally on top of it and screwed to the wall. I can't get to the screws holding the inverter to remove it so I can open the panel box. Am I missing some trick to get it opened? I think the only way would be to remove the wood top that holds the mattress and the center console (I have twin beds). I sure do not want to go that route so I'm thinking of just wiring the solar controller directly from the battery by running wires through the same opening that the battery cables run through. Any other suggestions?

Trouble Reaching Bus Bar

When we installed our system, we were able to get a ring connector lug on the positive wire from the solar controller and bolt it to the battery side of the use/store relay. We donít have a buss bar near it, and the convertor and fuse/breaker box is mounted under the aft dinette seat. Too far to run there. Our MPPT controller is mounted just aft of the closet on the streetside and it made sense to run a heavy cable to the center under the bed forward wall. You could certainly run a cable as you suggested with a nice fuse in the line to protect the wiring from a battery short to ground....

I went ahead and ran some wires through the same sleeve that hold the battery cables. Fairly simple, clean, and goes right into the battery box. Much easier and neater imho. Thanks for your input.
