switches

Please help if you can... I want to install an inline 12v on/off switch connecting 8g wire that will not increase resistance (in the 'on' position). No luck locally w/electrical stores. Any ideas, phone #s or links would be appreciated. Thanks, Brian.

That is a big wire, how many amps? Toggle switches (for the house), battery disconnects (auto parts stores) will handle 200-300 amps. The cube automotive relays handle 30 amps. All will be 0 ohms (or very close) when new.

Brain; I’m not sure what your application is but you might check out Digikey. They have toggle switches that go to 50 amps with 10 milliohms maximum contact resistence
