Stove Vent Fuse Blowing
Was running the stove vent and light and the 1.5 amp/250 Volt Fuse Blew replaced the fuse and it blew for the second time. Anyone having a similar problem ? Is that the correct fuse ?

Are you sure it requires a 1.5 amp?
Seem kinda small imo.
15 amp maybe?

There is a whole thread on this issue. The fuse that's in there is Italian. Just like the range hood. It is basically unobtainable in the US. Airstream suggest you go to the next larger size. Sorry I don't remember exactly what that is, but this has been an ongoing issue for anyone with the Baraldi.

Current fuse rating is 3.15 amp, and is available from most Airstream dealers.

As one of my colleagues used to say after the third blown fuse in gear being tested on the bench "looks like ya got a box of bad fuses!" If the 3.15 amp fuse blows you might have a shorted motor winding or pinched and grounded wire.

250 volt/1.5 amp equals 120 volt/3 amp. look up that Brandli fuse thread mentioned above. Ace hardware carries the 3+ amp/120 volt short little fuse.

Uh, no. That's not how fuses work.
The 250 volt part of the rating is the voltage the fuse will interrupt safely. It has to do with arc safety.
The current is the same for any voltage rating.

No argument, my mistake. In fact it does not matter if fuse is a 250, 120 or even less voltage as long as it is more than 12 volts--Vent hood operating voltage. Probably of more concern is that the hood uses a AC fuse and not a DC. I guess at 12 volts that is not much of a safety factor. Still, the 1.5 amp factory fuse seems too small to carry the load reliably.
