I am a recent owner of a 2009 bambi DWR. The manual indicates that the 16' models were not equipped with the yellow and green wires for solar connection, however I see those wires labeled "solar" under the front road side dinette. My question is would I hood a external solar port for a portable panel directly to these wires. As an alternate would I hood a solar controller to these wires which I assume are a direct link to the battery. Has anyone had experience doing this. Thanks in advance.
I have not seen a DWR model, but on other trailers, the green and yellow wires go up to the roof. They are intended to connect rooftop solar panels to a solar controller. You found the end that would be connected to the controller.
These wires will not be of any use for hooking up portable solar panels.
