Sea Level Monitor not working

We took our Globetrotter out of storage yesterday and have discovered that the Sea Level Monitor II isn't getting power. We are hooked up to 30AMP service at the house. Everything else is working. Any thoughts would be great.
We have a 2019 Globetrotter FBT

Your SeeLevel instruction manual has some diagnostic tests that may be helpful. SeeLevel likes direct lines from the battery positive and battery negative to help resist noise in the instrument. Test to ensure you have 12v at the instrument connector at the back of the instrument.

Our SeeLevel control panel has an inline fuse. Perhaps yours does, too.

Get in touch with Garnett Industries, they will walk you through diagnostics, they will probably just send you a new one if it’s toast. Its a good company who stands behind their product.

I agree with s1000pre: Garnet was easy to work with and very helpful to me. I had a erratic and fluttering readout once. It turned out to be an old converter that was sending a bad 12v DC current. A modern converter fixed the problem.

All, Thanks for your suggestions. I spoke to Garnett yesterday and they instructed me to power down the coach for 30 minutes to reset the device. It worked!!!

But the real question is why and how did it get into that state in the first place.

It is an embedded device running on a DC source, it should be fairly bullet proof.

If it does it again, I would suspect issues on the boards like a faulty capacitor or some component nearing its end of life for whatever reason.

This is one of those things that you don't want a flaky device monitoring, way to much at risk if the device is "wrong" or locked up.

Sounds like the company will stand by it, so that is a good thing.

We think when we powered up the coach from storage the store switch was stuck so we had to cycle it about 5-6 times to get the power to stay on. That sort of caused the Sea Level Monitor to get hung up. I called Garnet and they instructed me to power down the coach for 30 minutes. Once I powered it back on the monitor woke up.
