Rolls batteries

I'm due for batteries in my Pan Am.
Being one who stays away from the current trends, I'm considering Rolls batteries. Any one use these?

I would think that they have limited availability and even more difficulty in a warranty claim. If you are going with AGMs, I would definitely consider Lifelines. Made and warranted in the USA. (and nice folks too!) and a nationwide dealer network for back-up.

Seems that they are fine Canadian made batteries. As long as there is a distributor in your area and you get a good deal, why not. Do you have solar? They are marketed for solar applications.

Rolls makes excellent batteries for fixed home solar applications but I am not sure that they are any better for RV use than a standard brand such as Trojan. Even with that said, Trojan batteries have gone up in cost so much in recent years I have been using Costco Golf Cart 6 volt batteries as replacements in my rigs. My last set of Trojans in the Argosy lasted about 10 years. I hope the Costco last at least 8 years, they are half the price of the Trojans. Of course I may not be around long enough to report on it....lol.

Yes, both my 34s have identical solar systems. I've got 1.2 kw in Kyocera panels, feeding twin morningstar mppt 60 converters, stored in 4 lifelines. The lifelines are ok and I agree with Lew, having a great warrantee network is important. The lifelines have been great batteries. I've had more than one fail, one case split, one just died, and another would only charge up to 11 v.
My systems are very set it and forget it systems..... I rarely even look at my data, there's just always power in excess! It would be nice to have less bulk in the form of batteries....
Heck, if Rolls makes batteries for monster diesel locomotives, surely they have something for my little sardine can! In a world of shrinking options it would be nice to discover something else to choose from!

I'm not really sure about the li phosphate yet.....
Keep coming back to the tesla house battery, but would need to go the opposite way, down to 22 v.
