replacing wires to overhead light

The overkead light over the couch in my 31' Sovereign is not working but the other lights are. I tested the black and white wires before they get to the switch and they are dead. Does anyone know what I do now?

The basics

The basics are in order with checking all of the fuses.

Then move to the light end and work your way back.

The lights in the panel above your couch, sometimes have "couplers" a wire with a "stab connector". sometimes this "coupler" come loose.

I would try to access behind the panel and see if you can get to the wires and follow them back.

You may run into one of the couplers or I have even seen wires taped together behind the walls.

Good luck,
Smily
