That looks like a TPMS Sensor Repeater.

Looks exactly like my TST TPMS sensor repeater. From factory, strange.

Hi. No the trailer did not come with TPMS and when the service department was going to change out the valves and install the sensors supplied by me they did install that repeater we have been wondering about.

What does this 'repeater' and its light do? I guess this is another capability that my 2016 Classic did not come with.

From TST
The repeater simply extends transmission distance for sensors and amplifies transmissions from the sensors to the monitor. No programming is necessary. Just connect it to 12vdc and it works!

According to TST, the repeater draws so little current that you can leave it connected to the battery. I didn't, I put a two prong 12v. plug on it and plug it into the Zamp connector on the side of the battery box. I mounted mine under the plastic cover for the propane tanks using industrial Velcro.
I called TST to inquire if there was an orientation for the antenna. They told me it doesn't matter, flat, vertical, or sideways.

BTW, If I didn't use the repeater the system still works just fine. I think it's more of a thing for fifth wheels and MH's.

I have mine attached to the inside of the front window and a round (cigarette lighter) power plug that goes into a power port. Having forgotten to plug it in has no affect on the system performance.

I needed the repeater. I would occasionally lose or or two sensors while driving down the road. I have a 25 and a full size pickup so I was a bit surprised. With the repeater mounted on the frame next to the tongue jack, I never have a problem.
