Red and White Wire

I am restoring a 1976 Argosy 24. Up near the water pump and terminal block for the wiring going to the tow vehicle, there is a Red and White wire coming up through the floor. I cannot make sense of what it is for, nor can I remember if and what it was connect to.

Any help is greatly appreciated...

Without photos it's a guess. There are photos and wiring diagrams in the attached thread that may offer some insight. There's a red and white feed from/to the battery in our 76 Sovereign.

Good luck,

It was the brake wires. I was confused because the wiring diagram said that the brake wire is yellow and there is also a yellow wire there. Any thoughts on what the yellow wire is for?

Thanks

Yellow is usually for the brakes.

My brake wires are black and white (look like romex). My break away switch wires are red and gray. My break away switch was disconnected and the wires were tied together and stuffed back into the wall. When I re-wired the 7-way, I used the OEM wire colors out of the trailer side for future ease of identification.

This is what it looked like when I started.

A jumper light, a multimeter, a small battery charger, and a 7-way tester were my tools of choice.

Eastern South Dakota is very pretty with hills, rivers, and trees.
