Re-wiring a 12 volt light

I have a 2008 16ft Bambi International. I have converted most of the interior lights to LEDs. Very satisfactory. The four main ceiling lights and the light over the dining table are controlled by one switch. This "dining" light is mounted on the underside of an overhead cabinet. I want to be able to turn this light on independently of the ceiling lights. It was no problem removing the lens when changing to LED but I now need to remove the entire fixture. I see no way of accomplishing this. Also, where are the wires located that go to this light? They must be embedded in the floor of the cabinet somewhere. I may want to drill into the floor of the cabinet without hitting any wires. Any ideas?

Many thanks
