The LED power indicator on my power cord has always been red when plugged into 50amp posts. I am not sure if that is the way it should be - or is red indicating a fault of some kind? I also find that the LED does not go on at all when plugged into 30 amps. Is this normal? My dealer is not sure about the red light or the fact that it that the LED does not light at all on 30 amp.
Anybody have any insight on this?

Depending on your brand of cord, the LED will eventually fail, as reported many times on this Forum, but no harm comes to the cord. There is no repair for the failed LED, but since many use a protective device box at the pole, the LED isn't worth much anyhow.

I was able to get on the line with tech support with Marinco, the manufacturer of the cord for the 2019 Flying Cloud 30ft. The red light correctly indicates power is on. It is designed to go on with 50 AMP and will not go on with 30 AMP. My cord is operating properly.
