Are you watching television with a 120V AC television operating from an inverter? Your power consumption is quite high. My LR television is 120V, but my bedroom television operates from 12V and draws 3 amps.

I run the TV on 120v with the Inverter on and my cellphone for DirecTV Now service and a ScreenBeam Mini2 to beam the picture to the TV. That is why my TV load is so high.

Hi

I very much am *not* surprised that there is a bit of variation in these numbers. Each of these trailers is based on different decisions at the factory. There are also differences between models and years. I suppose one *could* spend a lot of time yanking this and that out to isolate just what 0.1A load is what. To tell the truth .... that sounds like a real pain ...

So far, comparing my Fluke DVM numbers to the Victron BMV-712 numbers, they seem pretty close. The gotcha with the BMV is that the dial only gives you 10 ma resolution and the app only gets to 100 ma. How good it is internally ... who knows ... hmmm .... ok if it's a 20 bit (effective) sigma delta ADC, you get 500A / 2^20 = about 0.5 ma. Pretty good bet it's brain is looking at data below 10 ma.

So much fun !!!

Hi

Speaking of variation ..... I just noticed that I did *not* need to turn on the TV antenna power feed when I went to watch the cartoons . I'm betting part of my load in the "use" condition was the twenty or so ma that the antenna pulls. Sorry about that .....

Hi

So a bit of "unique" data:

Running both of the AC units and the Alde ( off shore power ) the 12V drain off of the battery averages around 4A. That includes the fridge and the usual parasitics in the trailer. My new charger converter blew up so I'm doing some odd things ... at least it gives me more data
