Ok Trailer hook up works but what is this..

I got trailer hookup working great but when I hooked up the battery to the trailer the inner lamp on the left side rear will light up not bright but it will light up . Now the only thing I did different on the trailer hook up is not hook up 12v battery charge line . Would that cause the problem? I did a self line trace for all my wires to trailer .

When I see a faint light, I usually suspect a ground problem.

when you wired your plug you may have crossed the trailer charge line with the running lights.

Didnt think of that Ill have to redo connection ..

Speaking of charge line would it be a good idea to fuse or circiut break that line from the tow vehicle?
