No Power To A/C (power at breaker)

I have an 1988 29' Excella and trying to trace down an issue with the power to the A/C. This is a new to me trailer and when I tried to turn on the fan on the A/C it would not turn on. The actual fan turns by hand, so I decided to test the power to the unit. I exposed the wires and used my multimeter on the black and white 115 wires and the meter reads 0! I then went to the breaker box and nothing was blown so I tested using the meter on the top of the A/C circuit and the ground and it read 120.

I do not have a service manual so I have no idea where this wire runs between the breaker box and the A/C. Anyone have any ideas?

Also, any ideas why the line would be fed with 120, but nothing would be getting to the end of the line? Also, all other 115 outlets work just fine, but they are on different circuits of course.

Thank you,

Todd

Oh how a service manual would have saved me. After more looking and testing I found the switch above the stove in the cabinet. Now I understand that switch is used to turn on either the microwave or A/C. The A/C works great after flipping that switch.

It is really too bad that all of the service manuals that Airstream has are not freely available in PDF format online.

You might be able to buy one. Why would you think it would be free in today's economy? jim

Airstream probably doesn't make much after time and cost. Also, we already bought the trailers. They have such a great online library and the service manuals would be a great addition for their customers. I don't mind paying, just wish there was an instant way to get a PDF copy. Anyway, a guy can dream.
