Hi all - I have an 84 325 in need or serious work... a couple of Q's if anyone can help out.
1. Do all 325's (other) have both and inverter and a converter? I have a inverter 120-12vc under the stove, but cannot find an inverter. Is it possible that the batteries only run the
12v systems? Seems probable to me as the 2xAC's has a lot of demand.
2. That pesky 12vdc distribution panel seems to be causing issues. I believe it's the auto reset type (see photo) - I was having a lot of issues with the
12v systems failing after a few minutes... shorted out a few of the weird blocks (I was getting frustrated... I know.. and it seems to be working again. Clues to check function? I have an IOTA converter that seems to running a constant ~13.1 v even when the lights go out, so I figure the issue is down stream of the converter.
3. the AC battery isolator switch in the battery bay.. that should be left 'on' at all times other than doing electrical work or storage?
Thanks a bunch... after the electrics are working it's the big decision time.. engine needs work... how much to spend worth it or not?? ... ouchie.
