Newbie - interstate - 120V

I am really newbie who recently bought 2021 Interstate 19'
Generally figured out others pretty well but can't figure out 120V system.
While dry camping, I tried to use 120V outlet but it does not work.

- Turned on inverter --> solid green light starts blinking soon
- Turned on generator --> same as above and generator stops in a min.
While generator is running, 120V works.

- Should I do something else?
- Can I use 120V without running generator or connecting shore power by inverting 12V battery power?

Others things:
My SoC (state of charge) shows always 0%.
Is it normal?

I can still do 2 nights of camping (no heating) while running water pump, all the lights on, etc. And voltage is 'monitoring' shows 13.xx ~ 12.xx V.
So, it seems that I have enough juice from 12V battery.

The inverter only powers some of the 120 volt outlets - not all of them. The outlets on the inverter are or should have a label on the outlet cover. A 1000 watt inverter will not run items such as the microwave, toaster, hair dryer, etc. It's limited to items that don't require much energy such as the television and radio. The kitchen and bathroom outlets are not generally on the converter circuit. Hope that helps!

When using the generator, you need to place the charger in standby, and also wait for loads to shed. Once loads are shed, you will be able to power micro and ac.
Inverted outlets will be labeled with a light blue sticker. With your inverter, you could run a small Appliance.

Hi

Best guess: You have an inverter outlet by each TV. You likely have one other somewhere in the van (near where the satellite box would go ....). Unless the outlet says "inverter" on it, it will be dead unless you are on shore power or the generator is running.

Even if the SOC display did work (and it's not working in your case), it is doing a very rough guess at how the batteries are holding up. The only way to really know what's what is to put in a Smart Shunt.
