mystery outlet

hey everyone
I have a electrical type box on the wall away from the door on our 72 overlander that has a round hole in the center. the box is the same size as a regular plug outlet.
Is this a tv plug or what and what do I need to do with it
Take care and thanks for the info
Jerry

Yes it does. Looks just like a cigarette lighter. it can't be that simple, but if it is I'll probably leave it.
Take care
Jerry
PS I think I'll go get my lighter from my truck and see what lights.

You should have three of them. One in the rear bathroom, next to the light switch, one in the living room, which you have already found, and another in the streetside bed area.

Or, my wife uses a 12v curling iron and hair dryer. Life was easier when we just had a tent and no kids...

Don't forget that they make a number of 12 volt fans with the cigarette plug which might come in handy in hot weather.

We have a 12 volt mixer, and 12 volt coffee maker, along with the seemingly obligatory 12 volt hair dryer.
I also use the 12 volt plug in our living room to plug the solar panel into to keep the coach battery charged when Bertha is stored.
