Maiden Voyage A/C issue

Hi, We have a new 2016 International Serenity 27FB. We had an issue with our AC on our maiden trip. We have two Zones and it cooled great. The problem is it will not shut off, I have to manually shut it on and off. Here is how we set it:
Zone 1 - Cool, 72 f, with fan on low.

Zone 2 - Cool, 72, fan on low. Checked the Inside temp for both Zones, 1 would be close or at 71, Zone 2 inside temp would show 88, 85, never showed out of the eighties. We would have to manually shut it off as it got very cold and then back on when the temp rose. The clock is set in both zones and keeps good time. How can we get the the Air to work with the thermostat and automatically shut on and off. Also, is Zone 1 the front or the Bedroom?

Congrats on the new unit. Several of us with 2 ACs in the 27' configuration faced (face?) a similar problem.

Zone 1 is the bedroom, where the thermostat resides. The temperature sensor for zone 1 is in the thermostat, and is generally accurate. The temperature sensor for zone 2 is mounted in a small white plastic cage behind your living area tv. Given this bad design placement, it reads the heat from the fridge and TV and always thinks it is hotter than it really is in the trailer. Some of us have pulled the sensor wire out into the open air a few inches so it reads the ambient temperature better - this helps a bit. (Some have done that, and then placed a cover over the extended sensor so it does not read cold AC air.) In any case, we have gotten used to setting zone 2 at a higher temperature than zone 1, by about 7 degrees, to compensate for the elevated readings in zone 2.

And you may know this but, with the fan set to low with the unit on cool, the compressor will cycle on and off, but the fan will never shut off. If you set the fan to auto, the fan will shut off around the same time as the compressor.

Thank You !! It helps a lot. I kept thinking were is the sensor for Zone 2 because it is freezing in here and its reading 88. Didn't know about the Fan, will change it to Auto. Thanks again.
