LP gas detector

My LP gas detector stopped working. I am not getting power to it. I read that there is an in-line 1amp fuse but where would it be located. The wire runs back under fridge, is wrapped in tape and joins another larger cable again all wrapped in electrical tape. My unit is a 2014 International Signature 23fb. Can anyone help direct me where to look for this fuse?
